Our process starts with a detailed onsite assessment: evaluating existing service size and condition, conductor and meter base ratings, grounding electrodes (Ufer, water pipe, and ground rods), bonding, and panel integrity. We perform a load calculation, discuss your goals, and propose right‑sized upgrade options with clear scopes and product choices.
After permits are secured, we coordinate utility shut‑off/reconnect as needed. Installation day typically includes safe de‑energizing, labeling circuits, mounting the new panel, installing a correctly rated main breaker, torquing terminations to manufacturer specs, replacing feeders if required, adding surge protection and required AFCI/GFCI breakers, updating grounding and bonding, and neatly relabeling all circuits. Most projects are completed the same day, minimizing downtime.
Following inspection, you receive documentation of equipment, warranty details, and any recommended next steps such as generator interlocks, transfer equipment, or dedicated circuits for future upgrades. We keep pricing transparent, communicate timelines, and leave the work area clean and ready for use.
